WE ARE PRODUCING A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT HAITI'S LEGACY AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!

This documentary will follow the historical impact to the world stage that began with the successful slave revolt on the island of Hispaniola against the Greatest army of its time, led by Napoleon Bonaparte, to the political firestorm in Springfield, Ohio that turned the tide of a stagnant political campaign for the Presidency of the United States of America.

Haiti’s impact began as a beacon of hope and haven for the world’s slave population and in turn has been punished for the audacity of its creed: ‘ LIVE FREE OR DIE”. The world powers colluded to assure the failure of Haiti and it went from the “Pearl of the Caribbean” as the wealthiest of France’s colonies, financing over 60% of its GDP, to the poorest country of the western Hemisphere.

The film will also include the positive impact Haitians have had in Africa and France in the sixties to Montreal, New York and Miami in eighties and nineties as doctors, nurses, professors and laborers as they escaped the poverty and violence at home.
